New Council Name Chosen!

It's OFFICIAL! On June 13 the Council Realignment Committee adopted the final name as proposed by Girl Scouts of the USA and voted on by our membership. We are now "Girl Scouts of Central California South". Thanks everyone for your votes and ideas!

The New Council Boundaries

The yellow portion of the map at the right shows the counties making up the new council. The new boundaries are the result of planning and discussions with GSUSA and the councils involved. Click here to see the criteria used by GSUSA, Joshua Tree Council, and Golden Valley Girl Scouts.
